THE MADISON BOU SIGNATURE ALBUM

Our signature boudoir albums are the perfect keepsake for your most intimate portraits.

All albums are handmade in Europe using the finest archival print materials and guaranteed to last beyond your lifetime.

There are three styles of albums in 3 different sizes and all with an almost endless number of customisable covers.

This beautiful lay-flat, flush mounted album ensures seamless, panoramic, 800 gsm spreads.

Each cover is handcrafted as we believe a personal touch goes a long way.

We use 3 different paper types…

Fuji Silk & Fuji Pearl (Metallic) Crystal Archive Digital papers which have images exposed onto them with Silver Halide Noritsu HD technology. These two paper types can be mixed together in one album.

Canon Deep Matte paper has images printed with inkjet technology on the Canon DreamLabo 5000. Canon Deep Matte paper cannot be mixed with other papers in one album.

Mohawk Eggshell paper is a fine art paper created with natural fibers. Mohawk Matte paper cannot be mixed with other papers in one album.

‘Silver halide printing’ is when light-sensitive paper and silver-based chemistry are used to produce archival-quality images. The paper is exposed to light and the image is infused into the paper through a chemical process.

It produces vivid colours, more natural skin tones, resists fading, and brilliant whites. Essentially, it’s the old-school style of developing images. Think of the photos your grandparents held in their hands, and likely the same photos you still have access to today!

Inkjet printing is made with the help of the state of the art DreamLabo 5000 printer. Super crisp, high resolution images which are so sharp, they seem to jump out of the page. Similar to upgrading from HD TV to 4K Ultra HD.
