We’ve been photographing women for a long time (around 20 years), and probably seen and heard it all. As fun as boudoir certainly is, it's still not every day that women get to shed their clothes in front a photographer they really don't know. So this can often lead to a lot of anxiety in the run up to the shoot day.

Also, due to the intimate nature of this style of photography, potential clients may have questions about the process, that might be awkward or may seem a bit personal to ask.

In a world where the media often emphasises the importance of romantic relationships, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that certain experiences are only truly fulfilling when shared with a partner.

However, the truth is that you don’t need a partner to indulge in a boudoir session.

I spent nearly 30 years on the radio, every day broadcasting to thousands of people in their homes and workplaces. Just looking at the microphone and trying to work out what to say as the 3 minute record started to fade out slowly would fill me with dread. I would often be asked to walk out on stage in front of thousands of people to entertain them for a few minutes until I had to introduce the main act. You think that’s not terrifying? Of course it was.

Fetasia Latex are based in Leeds and started in 2010.

Leafie discovered that most latex clothing available was to big for her petite size so, she decided to try her hand at creating her own designs. Dix, her partner, makes the designs a reality. He hand makes each piece of latex clothing, except for the appliques. These are now cut by in house laser cutter. They create pieces ranging from Cosplay interpretations, Pin Up, High Fashion and heavy rubber fetish.

2023 was the year I became fascinated with the possibilities of A.I and started to incorporate it into some parts of my daily life. Like a lot of families, we’d become addicted to multiple Alexas and Echos and Siris stationed around our home and used them all the time. In the Summer of 2023 I started using these tools to help with writing for ideas. I created the backbone of a 10 week photography course for teenagers in ten minutes. Plus the time to source the graphics and illustrative material, use my ‘voice’ for the language and create a nice looking layout for the course notes and in total, I reckon it took around 4 hours to create a 10 week photography course and heaven knows how many days I’d be labouring over it if I was just using ‘old school’ methods of the past. If you’re a writer of any kind, A.I. is amazing for getting you started and for getting you ‘in the ball park’ in no time at all. It really is amazing.
