“I had always fancied having a photo shoot done, having seen some of my friends showing their pictures on Facebook but my confidence issues always made me hesitant. Last year was a really hard year for me regarding my physical health and I got diagnosed with Osteoporosis on my spine. I had 6 months off work and became extremely low as things I had taken for granted in being able to do I no longer could. I am a single parent and this was a real bitter pill to swallow not being able to do things with my daughter.

I had started to manage my pain better and had lost some of my weight and wanted to feel special just once. I have never liked my photo being taken and would always hideaway when anyone took a camera or phone out. I thought it would be just nice if I could have one picture that I liked of me.

From start to finish Dave and his team made me feel like a superstar. Believe me I was so nervous and it took all the confidence I had to go, I nearly turned round in the car park but I’m so glad I didn’t.

Kym was amazing doing my makeover and showed me step by step what was doing and made me look more fabulous than I ever thought anyone could make me look.

Dave is so funny and laid back and straight away put me at ease. He taught me some amazing tips and the whole experience was one of the best things I have ever done. You gave me confidence I never knew I had.

Dave was amazing a true gentleman very friendly and calming and with his vivacious sense of humour he relaxed any nerves. I did struggle with some of the poses as I was in pain but even with this distraction he was able to get the best out of me and make me feel like I was beautiful. I loved every minute of the day and all my insecurities seamed to fade away.

When I returned for the viewing I was excited but scared unsure of what to expect, I sat in the office with my mum and on the computer screen was a magazine cover. I remember thinking at the time the lady on the front looked really attractive, never did I think that it was me. When we sat down to view the pictures Dave pointed out that that was me from that point on I couldn’t stop the tears. Picture after picture and I looked amazing in every one. I bought all my digitals as I really couldn’t chose a favourite I loved them all. I would recommend Dave and his team to anyone as what he does is priceless and so empowering.

“I was unsure of what to expect on the photo shoot, many thoughts about what to wear, what will I look like and will I be comfortable with it all. “I’ve wanted to take part in this kind of photoshoot for a while because I wanted to put myself outside of my comfort zone and push the boundaries of what I’m willing and comfortable doing.

I was really surprised by the relaxed and humorous atmosphere Dave and Shareen have created during the shoot and by how at ease I felt throughout. I expected myself to be reserved and shy, but found myself not caring about anything and anybody around me as I threw layers of clothing off without embarrassment. The whole thing felt like a fun time with a camera merely involved on the side.

I loved my experience for my 40th birthday last year, the day was relaxed with great customer care right from the word go. My hair and makeup was super this was done to my description of how I wanted to look being a more natural lady, in the past many make up artists I find tend to apply heavy clown make up to which I didn’t want so this was good I was listened to . Dave was just so professional with the photo shoot making it fun and relaxed. Turning 40 for me was a decision of either Botox or a photoshoot, I decided to stay natural and let the camera do the work. The photos were beautiful and I will be back for more highly recommended . It is the most relaxing and enjoyable experience you will ever know, Dave as the photographer is brilliant and very entertaining, where Ellie does excellent Make up making it look so effortless.

if you took him on for your wedding photo's he most certainly just wouldn't be the photographer but as they were taking pictures he would entertain them and make them feel special, as well as the bride and groom.

WOW – that’s all I can say! The pictures are stunning – I LOVE them (something I never thought I’d say!).

I arrived with no idea what to expect, and feeling very nervous about being the focus of the camera lens (I’ve pretty much hidden from cameras all my life!). But Sarah and Dave made me feel really relaxed – Sarah spent time chatting about how I wanted my make-up, and having it done was such fun, and a chance for a good gossip! The shoot itself was so much fun – the weather was lovely and we were able to do lots of photos outside. I quickly felt happy in front of the camera, and by the end was more than happy to do some boudoir shots – Dave made the whole thing very comfortable and natural . And I’m so glad I did – I love them! To finish the shoot off, we got some lovely pictures in the room where my mum was born – so thoughtful. The whole experience was so much fun – I wouldn’t hesitate to do another one.

The whole experience has been beyond my wildest dreams – life changing. I feel happier about myself than I ever have thanks to these images. I don’t have words to properly express my gratitude – thank you isn’t enough, but it’s all I have so THANK YOU.

In my late 40’s not ever feeling I was pretty, always been lacking in self confidence, feeling low, on a whim I entered the Madison Bou over 40’s glam shoot competition that came up in my fb feeder page, not expecting to be one of the ones that would win it!! But I did!!!

Panic… I haven’t got anything to wear, but Dave and Jayne were full of confidence that they would have something for me to wear.

Both were extremely supportive before the event and…well, the day was awesome x x

There was lots of laughs throughout the day and you know what? I came away feeling fantastic! I now believe I ain’t that bad, can be quite pretty, especially after the team have worked their magic x

“To be honest I’d never though of doing anything remotely like this. Probably like most ladies I’ve alway felt body conscious and struggled with my weight over the years, and then children came along and my body has never looked the same. I looked at the website for some inspiration and the pictures were totally amazing. For me I just ran with the idea and thought I may never get this chance again, so putting everything aside I turned up with a number of outfits and an open mind. The results for me are priceless. “I was turning 40 and thought a boudoir photoshoot would be a good way of marking the occasion!

I was really nervous a few days before but then, on the actual day, I felt calm and excited!

It was brilliant!

I took a large suitcase full of clothes and accessories, including my wedding tiara and a feather boa, and Dave and I decided what I should wear and how to have my hair and make up.

They totally looked after me and made me feel special from the moment I arrived.

Throughout the shoot, Dave was great at giving me directions, making me feel at ease, and just making me feel amazing!

I honestly would say to anyone, go and do it!

Just to feel special, empowered, sexy, and fantastic.

Everyone deserves a day where you come away feeling all of those things.

As for the photos themselves, the quality is excellent.

My husband and I bought a beautiful photo book and a metal picture for the bedroom, both of which I love.

“I used to be confident and carefree. I never worried what anyone thought and I was comfortable in my own skin. I've never been beautiful but I have felt it.

That all changed without me even realising, years of little comments, digs, remarks - all designed to chip away until, frankly, I didn't even recognise myself, let alone love myself.

My body felt like it was no longer my own. It was something that someone else was entitled to, my needs were not important and my feelings even less so. I read something recently that having a low sex drive is not really a thing, that your sex drive is connected to how you are feeling in that moment. I had come to believe I had no sex drive, when in fact what I had was no desire due to being made to feel completely undesirable.

Hitting 40 and being single for the first time in a long time, I was determined to change this. For me, not for anyone else. A boudoir shoot has always been on my bucket list so what better time.

I went through all the reasons not to, I'd put on weight, needed my eyebrows done, wanted another tattoo, it was self indulgent, what was the point if I wasn't going to share the pictures, but ultimately decided to jump out of my comfort zone and in front of the camera.

I watched ALOT of tiktoks for ideas and inspiration and trawled the internet looking for the perfect company - this is when I found Madison Bou. They were not the cheapest but I loved the feel of their website. I bit the bullet and booked. "…
