This has everything we love in a Madison Bou boudoir photoshoot. Dresses, lingerie, implied nude or topless if you feel brave enough. None of these elements alone represent a boudoir photoshoot perfectly but when you combine them all it’s so joyous and great for confidence.

Few boudoir photography studios ask their clients to bring dresses with them for the shoot but we always do. Honestly, with many years experience behind us, we know that one of the best ways to overcome the nerves of actually doing this type of shoot in the first place is to start your shoot in dresses or at least, fully clothed. It’s less scary this way and allows us to work on your ‘camera face’ (we all have one)

By the time we get to the lingerie section of the shoot, you’ll be so relaxed and look incredible on camera.

It’s fun and empowering. The transformation is a wonder to behold.

When we set up Madison Bou we were determined to always put the client first and we felt that one of the ways to do this would be to not treat her like 'just another client’ but to give her the fullest attention for as long as needed to get amazing pictures. We know that some women take longer than others to look relaxed in front of the camera and so this is why the experience is totally bespoke and all about you. After all, this may be the one and only time you step in front of the camera wearing not much more than a smile, so we believe the entire day needs to feel as important as the event itself.

“I used to be confident and carefree. I never worried what anyone thought and I was comfortable in my own skin. I've never been beautiful but I have felt it.

That all changed without me even realising, years of little comments, digs, remarks - all designed to chip away until, frankly, I didn't even recognise myself, let alone love myself.
