To feel confidence inspired is an amazing thing. Being able to project confidence when inside you’re a nervous wreck is an art form in itself.
I spent more than 20 years broadcasting on the radio and hosting events on stage in front of thousands of people and I don’t think I ever managed to calm my nervousness about each performance or radio show. I managed to come across as super confident though, which is why I kept my job for so long. It’s why at Madison Bou, we have so much empathy with all our clients who arrive feeling anxious for their photoshoot. We spend a good deal of time relaxing and calming your nerves to the point where we know that you will look your most natural and beautiful.
It takes a lot of courage to be in front of the camera. Even more courage if you choose to do a ‘boudoir’ style photoshoot. That said, it’s not about what you wear but how you feel that makes a successful photoshoot.
A professional photoshoot is a big investment, not just financially but emotionally as well. We take the time to ensure that you feel truly confidence inspired from your experience and have the most fun and exciting day imaginable.

No matter how nervous I was going out on stage, no matter how scared I was presenting a live radio show in front of 80,000 people with all the things that could potentially go wrong, the feeling after having done it was electrifying. Like an adrenaline rush. We want you to feel exhilarated too after a Madison Bou Experience. We want you to leave us with a broad grin and a skip in your step.
A successful photographic session is about building trust with your photographer. Mutual trust will go a long way to calming your nerves. It’s why we have so many hundreds of images on our website so that you can see that we’ve done this many, many times before. We’re not just starting out. We’ve been photographing women for two decades and in that time we’ve learned how to listen and understand the needs of our clients.
We’ve also learned to photograph the real ‘you’ but the most beautiful, glamorous real you, you have ever seen. By that, we mean, we understand that different personalities need photographing differently. Some women are natural exhibitionists and love to ‘strike a pose’ while others are much more reserved and shy. Remember how shy Princess Diana was? That ‘look’ became the most photographed and successful look on magazines around the world for a decade. Arguably Diana never really cured her inner shyness but she did learn to cope and manage it. This is what we do with you. We will help you to manage your fears and quickly put you at ease to the point where you’ll be completely comfortable in front of our camera. (Sometimes it takes a little longer and it’s why our shoots sometimes last up to three hours, but always, we get there)
