Boudoir FAQ Answered:

What type of lingerie should I buy for my session?

It is honestly a very personal choice. Start by choosing your favorite colour! You want to make sure whatever you buy fits you comfortably, not too tight and not too baggy.

If you have areas that you most certainly want to cover, such as your tummy, try high-waists, corsets, a ‘body’ or a even a robe! If you really don’t want to wear lingerie, bring a baggy button shirt. (A man’s shirt is perfect for this) This is one way to warm up in front of the camera as well since you won’t feel too exposed.

Want a bossom boost?

Find a supportive bra and knickers to match.

The options are endless. Have fun shopping!

Does my age or size matter?

Beauty comes in all ages and sizes.

We welcome curvy women, women without curves, young and old.

We encourage you to have this opportunity to experience self-love.

Is being stressed normal? How can I calm myself down?

Absolutely! Almost everyone is nervous when they decide to do this type of shoot. It is totally expected. Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere during your session.

I Really Don’t Like the Way I look. Is Boudoir Really For Me?

This is a really crucial question and to reasure you, almost nobody we photograph loves the way they look when they come to us.

You absolutely don't need to look like a magazine cover or a centerfold.

You are beautiful just the way you are.

When you come to our studio, you will be glammed up to your liking. Natural, Hollywood glam, vintage, you name it.

We will totally pamper you. We will direct every pose from your eyes to your tippy toes.

Take a day away from home or the office, find a sitter for your kids, and just relax. Really treat the day as a special day, just for you. This is ALL about you.

I Might Want to do some Nudes but I’m Nervous. How do you handle Nudes?

Posing for nudes is a very vulnerable thing to do, but these are also the photos clients end up cherishing the most. This is something we discuss with you beforehand, and there is absolutely no pressure to do this – it’s only if you want to! We will never ask you to remove an article of clothing during your shoot unless we have discussed it already.

When we shoot nudes, the aim is to portray your figure in a sculptural way.
