We all have anxieties about the way we look. Especially since we’ve all seen so many bad pictures of ourselves taken on the phone over the years. It’s ironic in this age of the ‘selfie’ how we have become more anxious about seeing ourselves than ever before.
A Madison Bou Boudoir Experience is created to help you overcome your body anxieties. We never judge. We simply use the experience we’ve gained, photographing 1000s of different women and help you to relax, pose and look completely comfortable in front of the camera. It’s not by chance that all the women on our website look comfortable. There are 1000s of pictures of 100s of different women. Is it likely that every single one of them were totally comfortable in front of the camera? Of course not. Looking relaxed in front of the camera is something a skilled photographer will help you with. It sometimes takes a little work but we’re always willing to work with you to ensure we get amazing pictures. It’s why we only book one shoot per day. The last thing we want is to be thinking about the next client when we’re still photographing you.

We’ll coach you every step of the way, on everything from body posing to facial expressions. All poses are done with flattering your best features in mind.
We’ve been creating Leeds Boudoir Photography for 20 years so you will certainly be in safe and professional hands. The atmosphere on your shoot will be fun and judgement-free and you’ll be encourage to really express your feminine side.
Before shoot day we send out a comprehensive ‘prep’ guide and a short series of emails with ideas on getting ready for the day.
When you arrive at our studios you’ll be invited to show us your outfits over refreshments and we’ll discuss hair and make-up ideas.
During your Boudoir Photoshoot we will use a variety of rooms and backdrops and help with posing and expressions. There’s no formula. It’s all done at a pace that’s comfortable to you and everything is styled around you in a completely individual way. Shoot times can vary but always last at least 2 hours since it takes time for anyone to get used to the idea of being photographed by a relative stranger. Styling is on hand throughout the shoot so you’ll always know you look your best in every frame.
After your day you will leave with a broad grin on your face, feeling exhausted, yet energised and far more confident than ever.
A week or two later, you’ll return to view all your amazing pictures and choose your favourites for the album of a lifetime or some amazing wall art to show yourself looking like a supermodel. All our products are made to last a lifetime by some of the worlds best print companies.

AFTER THE SHOOT, WHY NOT TURN YOURSELF INTO ART?
A large art piece will go a long way to making you feel like you’re worth it
You may think that you only want digitals but believe me, those digital images will go to waste. They will sit on your computer and barely get looked at. At some point, they will be lost in the digital ether.
Don’t believe me?
OK, maybe you’ll believe the vice president of Google, Vint Cerf, who said that we are creating the ‘lost century’
All our millions and millions of digital images will soon be lost forever because the programs needed to view them will become obsolete.
This is not scaremongering, it’s just common sense based on recent history. Hands up if you remember (or even own)

Vint Cerf is not a foolish man. He warns that humanity’s first steps into the digital world could be lost to future historians. He warned we will be a “forgotten generation, or even a forgotten century” through what he called “bit rot”, where old computer files become useless junk.
The take away from this message is – If you want to pass on your precious pictures to the next generation, then get them printed. Printed professionally on archival paper and ink.
Or… wake up one day and those precious baby pictures or milestone family pictures will become just a memory. As sure as eggs are eggs. (I think the daft expression goes)
As we slowly come out of the Pandemic 2020, we at Madison Bou, feel we have a duty to serve our clients. We can’t serve them well by just offering digitals. There’s certainly no cost difference since digitals have the same amount of work, expertise, and care put into them as any print or product.
So, in order to serve our clients effectively and give them what they need (as well as what they want) – Every print we sell will now come with a corresponding digital file.
This is fantastic news. It means you’ll get something that will last for many decades AND get something for social media and to carry in your pocket on the phone.
Google’s Vint Cerf would be proud.
