Oh My Gosh! Is That Really Me? • Boudoir Photographers Yorkshire

As a person born with spina bifida I was concerned how I might look. I am confident in myself but try always to hide whats not perfect. I was pictured standing and sitting where you can see I’m different but I am comfortable with this, I am different and I did this to embrace this. The pictures including full length and some that showed parts of my body I would normally cover were beautiful.

When clients return for their viewing session the biggest question we get asked is “Oh, my gosh, is that really me?”

I can pinpoint the exact moment when the confidence comes back…. You can see it in their face, see it in their body language, it’s an amazing thing and it happens every single time.

Clients can often arrive visibly shaking with nerves. Then, after an hour or so in hair and make-up and a fully directed, yet relaxed photoshoot in the comfort of a top hotel like Hazlewood Castle, you can see the anxiety rapidly disappear and be replaced with laughter and banter.

We see it time and time again. Everyone leaves our photoshoot experiences feeling a lot more confident.

They tell us it’s a bit like floating on air.

What’s your story?

Many clients tell us their stories beforehand.

These stories may be about being in a long term, abusive relationship or long term health problems.

They may be stories of self neglect and weight gain.

Many clients come to us not liking the way they look at all… Gaining weight after childbirth is a biggie, as is, feeling like a third class citizen in their own home because they’ve been putting children and husband first.

There are so many reasons why people lose their self confidence over the years and one of the best ways to regain some of that back is to step out of your comfort zone and do something like this.

Looking at the finished pictures during the viewing session and seeing just how beautiful you really are can be a defining moment for so many people. It can be literally life changing for some.

This is the most emotional and exciting part of your whole journey.

Every single client falls in love with their photos and this is when you can decide what photos you love the most and want to purchase.

We know from experience that after spending the day with Madison Bou Photography, you will walk out feeling radiant and more confident and sexy, no matter what your story is. That’s our guarantee.

We are a full service boudoir photography studio based in Yorkshire

What this means is that we sell all heirloom products which will last 2, 3 generations so when you’re long gone your great great grand kids can still see how beautiful you were.

Albums are the biggest seller with self contained, intimate collections of images from your shoot and also popular are large metal Alumini prints which you’ll see every single day and will make you smile with confidence and make you super proud.

It’s an amazing thing to have a beautiful picture of yourself hanging on the wall as a work of art because that’s what you are. You are a work of art!

It’s also an amazing thing for your kids to see the confidence you have to proudly show a picture of yourself on the wall. Think about the positive message that sends to them. If you can do it, why can’t they?

“Dave and his team really went above and beyond to make our day excellent. He was able to work around my wife’s medical conditions without any issues, and even helped turn them into the focal point of a few photos.

The whole team made it a calm and reassuring experience, and really got the best shots possible. The castle grounds are amazing, and make for some excellent views.

We’ve loved the results!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Also, I know we gave you permission to use the photos for marketing purposes, and just to clarify, we didn’t mind any of them being used, even the babe in the woods ones, or the ones showing the wheelchair.  Especially the carrying one, as we think that’s almost a perfect photo, even though it was unplanned.  It shows us both happy, Emmy being supported through her illness and able to still do amazing things.” … Emily (Below)
