WHY NOT MAKE YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTOSHOOT A PARTY?

Unlike men, women are real sharers.

For example …

We share clothes, (seriously, when was the last time you met a man who swaps clothes with his friends?)

We visit the loo together, (Well, obviously. Why the heck do the boys not do that? Have they got no gossip to share at all? )

We share the bill on a girls nights out (Fellas, more often than not, will have one friend who picks up the entire bill… It’s a macho thing.)

So, because we’re such sharers, why not share a Boudoir Photoshoot?

Of course, Boudoir can be a really private experience, but for some women, it’s a perfect opportunity for some mutually positive re-enforcement. Getting moral support from your bestie is such a wonderful thing. Plus it’s a great way to ease the nerves if someone you love and trust is with you through the experience.

A Bride will often come with her Bridesmaid as a special treat for them both and the bride will often hide the expense in with the overall wedding budget. It’s a great way to treat the Groom to a sexy and personal wedding gift and also to say thank you to the chief Bridesmaid for all the prep work she’s done. Win, win for everyone.

A BIT OF MORAL SUPPORT

It’s completely normal for women to get a little anxious at the thought of posing in front of a camera with few clothes on. Sometimes it helps if a friendly face is metaphorically holding their hands. Your friend can also help with your outfits and encourage you to push your comfort zone a little. You can do the same for her if you both want a photoshoot.

Sometimes a friend will come along just to offer some moral support and a helping hand but on other times, she will also want some photos as well and these sessions will be planned carefully in advance so both clients get something special and unique from the day. One may want a shower shoot, for example, the other friend may want something more fashion based outdoors. Everything is bespoke and unique.

MAKE IT A CELEBRATION

Whatever you’re celebrating, turn it into something really special with a Boudoir Party.

We’ve mentioned this is perfect for Hens and will allow the Bride to create an amazing gift for her partner but is also a fabulous way for the hens to get in on the fun and have some pictures for themselves. Maybe the main shoot will be centred around the Bride and smaller shoots for the rest of the party. (Lingerie optional ) - Often the girls will all chip in to pay for the Brides Boudoir Book and get a print for themselves.

Over the years, we’ve created Boudoir Sessions for 30th, 40th and 50th Birthday Parties, we’ve also created sessions for groups of friends where one is ‘celebrating freedom’ with a divorce. (Not all women are negative about getting divorced. For some it’s a way to break free and rediscover what they’ve lost or suppressed for many years. Even better with a group of supporting friends. )

We supply the wine and refreshments as well as the hair and make-up for the girls and all that’s needed is the willingness to have fun!

It will certainly be a unique day for all.
